You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding agreements to use askLex.

askLex provides:

- A directory enabling users to connect with independent lawyers
All information provided is general, informational, and non-tailored. You acknowledge that laws may change, information may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate, and you remain solely responsible for any decision or action taken based on content from askLex. Always seek professional legal advice before acting on any legal matter.
05AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
Content generated by askLex relies on automated systems and probabilistic models. AI-generated outputs may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. askLex makes no guarantees as to the correctness, completeness, or applicability of such outputs. Use of AI-generated content is at your own risk.
06User Accounts
You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Maintain confidentiality of your login credentials
- Notify askLex immediately of any unauthorized use
askLex may suspend or terminate accounts for misuse or breach of these Terms.
07Payments and Subscriptions
Certain services are paid. Payments are taken by Zidlee, our payment provider, on their own secure page. By subscribing or making a payment, you agree to Zidlee’s terms and conditions, and to the fees, billing cycles and renewal terms shown to you at checkout. A subscription renews until you cancel it, and cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. All payments are non-refundable, except where required by applicable law.

askLex may enable users to connect with independent lawyers. askLex:

- Is not a party to any engagement between users and lawyers
Any relationship formed is strictly between you and the lawyer.
10Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Platform for unlawful purposes
- Misrepresent information
- Scrape, copy, reverse engineer, or exploit the Platform
- Rely on askLex as a substitute for professional legal advice in high-risk matters
11Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the Platform, including content, branding, software, and AI outputs, belong to askLex or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Platform for personal or internal business purposes only.
12Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Lebanese law, askLex shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages. askLex is not responsible for decisions, losses, or damages arising from reliance on Platform content.
13Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless askLex from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Platform, violation of these Terms, or reliance on Platform content.
14Termination
askLex may suspend or terminate access at any time, without notice, for violation of these Terms or misuse of the Platform.
15Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Lebanon. The courts of Beirut shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
16Amendments
askLex may update these Terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
